A few years ago, some social experiments were carried out around the possibilities offered by the internet and digitalization for individuals to maintain an isolated life without having to leave their homes. The use of technology allowed them to work from home, buy groceries, and socialize with family and friends. An unwanted situation for the majority has become a reality and a necessity for many in the wake of the COVID 19 pandemic. Especially for manufacturers of all sectors, who have faced unexpected challenges.

In the other hand, challenges are said to bring opportunities, the current pandemic has led to accelerating the digital transformation of the existing era, a transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0, characterized by closer cooperation between human and machines by leveraging advanced technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT) and big data.

In this sense, manufacturers and services providers have been given the opportunity to change some processes, update to new technologies, add new values to their products, and more important to get to use more frequently remote systems, whether due to international mobility restrictions or preventive health issues.

For us, Enelkon Automation, adapting to the current situation has not been a difficulty, we have been using the advantages of this digital era for the benefit of our customers, by improving their user experience. We have been equipping our automation systems with controllers that facilitate remote monitoring and operations management, assuring safety, and fastness with any WIFI infrastructure, many years ago. Meaning that we are experienced enough with remote production. We are aware of the advantages and flexibility as our systems can be operated at any time and from anywhere enabling early diagnosis, with positive results.

Furthermore, remote technical support and fast response is part of our company policy and of course essential in our industry. Being able to provide a fast response with the latest technological developments is one of the characteristics of our services thanks to the continuous development of Industry 5.0.
