Insert Molding

Insert Molding

IN -LINE INSERT ROBOT

Insert Molding compound plastics and metal, or multiple combinations of materials and components into a single unit. This process improves the mechanical properties of plastic-based products, reduces assembly and labor costs, as well as the size and weight of the parts. It does improve the component's reliability and delivers improved parts' strength and more flexible structure designs.

How does this process work?

The insert is placed in the mold by our high-precision servo robot before the molten plastic is injected into the mold while the plastic flows into the mold, the insert is anchored much more securely than if it were assembled with soldering, adhesives or fasteners. If the insert is put into the mold in the wrong position, the insert might be damaged by the mold, so the precision is one of the most important things during this process. To make a difference, allow us to use our expertise to help develop your products and manufacturing methods!
